Our preferred capacity is about 30 guests at any one time because we like to keep things tranquil. We operate during the dry season (notionally April - October). Access to the property is via unsealed road and is not typically suitable for regular passenger vehicles (4WD/offroad recommended).

The property has basic amenities such as power, water and toilet facilities. You are welcome to cool off in the swimming pool, grab a game of pool in the recreation “shed” or enjoy an evening beverage in the Bali Hut.

Bookings are essential.

The Fisherman’s Cabin

In addition to regular camping and onsite facilities, the “Fisherman’s cabin” is available for rent. It can sleep 3-4 people in airconditioned comfort with a Queen bed and a single bed, suitable for a small family or a couple. The lodging has an ensuite toilet/shower, TV/coffee facilities and small kitchenette.

Fishing Adventures

Fishing is why many people come to Perry’s and we have a LOT to offer. Whether you are boating on the Daly, throwing a line in along the river or visiting our tranquil and beautiful private Yarra Billabong, the fishing is outstanding. We have two electric-powered “tinnies” that may be rented for use on the billabong (an oxbow lake) and a tackle shop in case you have left something at home or run out of lures.

Wildlife

Perry’s is a remote and secluded property and is full of amazing wildlife. Truly WILD. From the moment you arrive at the property you will be sharing the land with “local” inhabitants ranging from the friendly (and very cute) Agile Wallabies loitering around the tenting area, vast bird life, water buffalo, dingoes, reptiles (of all sorts) and… yes, crocs. You are in crocodile country.

The wildlife is what makes this place special and you will experience it every moment that you are here. The flora is also spectacular with palms, mangoes, cashews and groves of mahogany trees alongside fascinating indigenous plants. We even have a (mostly safe) jungle walk so you can see it all up close!
