Campground visitor rules
Bookings are highly recommended and “drop in” visiting is not recommended.
Payment, including for site services, boat rental and fishing tackle purchases may be made by cash or electronic funds transfer / cards. We do not keep a lot of cash on the premises so electronic payment is always preferred.
You are not permitted to stay on site without a reservation or permission to stay from the ground managers. Check in at the house on your way into the property.
Intoxication, noisy and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and you will be escorted off the property.
Loud music and noise is not permitted on the ground past 10pm unless part of an agreed event or activity.
Running water is available but we strongly recommend boiling water for use or bringing your own.
Laundry, toilet/shower/bath facilities, the recreational “shed” and the pool are only available to paying guests.
Powered sites are separately billed (incrementally) for electricity on a per day basis.
Waste bins and disposal for cans/bottles are provided. Do not leave rubbish lying around as it attracts animals, some of which are not desired in the camping area.
You may not fish on the property unless you are a paying guest.
Private boats may not be launched from the property and no private vessels, kayaks, etc. are permitted on the billabong (lake) for safety reasons under any circumstances.
No swimming anywhere on the property except the swimming pool, due to crocodile risk.
You are not permitted to make and light your own fires. There are designated areas where a fire may be safely lit - please ask the ground manager for advice.
Please keep distance from wildlife. Some of it is friendly, some of it isn’t.
Please keep fences and turnstiles closed.
