Campground visitor rules

  • Bookings are highly recommended and “drop in” visiting is not recommended.

  • Payment, including for site services, boat rental and fishing tackle purchases may be made by cash or electronic funds transfer / cards. We do not keep a lot of cash on the premises so electronic payment is always preferred.

  • You are not permitted to stay on site without a reservation or permission to stay from the ground managers. Check in at the house on your way into the property.

  • Intoxication, noisy and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and you will be escorted off the property.

  • Loud music and noise is not permitted on the ground past 10pm unless part of an agreed event or activity.

  • Running water is available but we strongly recommend boiling water for use or bringing your own.

  • Laundry, toilet/shower/bath facilities, the recreational “shed” and the pool are only available to paying guests.

  • Powered sites are separately billed (incrementally) for electricity on a per day basis.

  • Waste bins and disposal for cans/bottles are provided. Do not leave rubbish lying around as it attracts animals, some of which are not desired in the camping area.

  • You may not fish on the property unless you are a paying guest.

  • Private boats may not be launched from the property and no private vessels, kayaks, etc. are permitted on the billabong (lake) for safety reasons under any circumstances.

  • No swimming anywhere on the property except the swimming pool, due to crocodile risk.

  • You are not permitted to make and light your own fires. There are designated areas where a fire may be safely lit - please ask the ground manager for advice.

  • Please keep distance from wildlife. Some of it is friendly, some of it isn’t.

  • Please keep fences and turnstiles closed.
